What we collect, and what we do with it.
Last reviewed August 2026
We advise clients on data protection, so it would be poor form to be careless with yours. This page describes exactly what happens to information you give us through this website.
What this site collects on its own
Nothing. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no third-party embeds and no cookies set by this site. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN, so simply reading these pages does not report your visit to anyone else.
Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard server request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We do not connect that data to individuals or use it for marketing.
What you give us through the contact form
If you submit the enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, and the details you chose to include about your company and your situation. That submission is delivered to us by email through our email provider.
We use it for one purpose: replying to your enquiry and any conversation that follows. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not run follow-up sequences, and we never sell or share your details with third parties.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Where we go on to work together, we keep correspondence and project records for seven years to meet Kenyan tax and record-keeping obligations.
Client data during an engagement
When we work inside your systems we act as a data processor on your behalf, under a written agreement covering scope, confidentiality and security. We work in your cloud accounts under credentials you control and can revoke. We do not copy production personal data onto our own machines, and we use pseudonymised or synthetic data for development wherever it is practical to do so.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email hello@axxadata.com and we will respond within the statutory period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and revise the review date above.
